Is the app free?

Yes. Downloading CSM Mate and the document management features are free.

Do I have to be a CSM Gdynia trainee to use the app?

No. Any seafarer can use the app, but CSM Gdynia trainees get the most out of it.

Are my documents safe?

Yes. Only you have access to your documents. Nobody else sees them. The connection to the app is secured, and we do not share your data with anyone.

How do the reminders about document expiry dates work?

Just fill in the document’s expiry date and the app will send a notification 6 months, 3 months and 1 month before it expires. From the document card you can also go straight to a renewal course.

Which devices does the app run on?

The CSM Mate app runs on smartphones with iOS (iPhone) or Android. Minimum requirements: iOS 15.5 or Android 9.0.

Does the app work without internet?

Yes. Documents you have already saved are available offline. You need a connection to sync with the server and to book courses.
